Looking up. That’s the simple pleasure that brings me joy in my life. Isn’t there a saying that goes like, “You have your head in the clouds”? Well, I am far too short to have my head in the clouds, but I do enjoy observing things that are above my usual line of sight. It may have started with clouds, but then I started seeing how the conduit in industrial buildings were beautifully bent and neatly organized. (Yes, I know that there are poorly done examples of conduit, but it makes you wonder “What was going on that day?”) I am the type to get underneath a piece of furniture to examine and follow the structure and building process. Objects have history and it can be observed. My conclusions may not be a hundred percent correct, but its a fun exercise to practice. I guess the overall sentiment is that changing one’s POV can help improve one’s sense of observation and wonder.
